The story
Look closer: Bigfoot, UFOs and dinosaurs hiding in 18th-century toile
From across the room it's classic toile de Jouy. Up close, Bigfoot is walking through the forest, a flying saucer is beaming up a camper whose boots are still outside the tent, and a T. rex is standing under the oak trees.
Wallpapers4Beginners is a small studio in Seregno, near Milan. It prints real paper wallpaper (not vinyl) in Italy with water-based inks and sells it as a kit: pre-cut sheets with the paste in the box, removable with hot water. Over the last 12 months, Bigfoot and the blue Alien Abduction toile have been two of its ten best-selling designs on Etsy, out of more than 200.
Chosen by Charlap Hyman & Herrero for L'Appartamento by Artemest, Milan Design Week 2026.

great work and nice interaction
Très belle qualité, et superbe sur mes murs. Très contente de mon achat.
Shipping updates spotty. Very nice paper. If you don’t want to use the sample as wallpaper, you’ll need to figure out how to get the creases out.
The paper is quite unique and not exactly what I am used to when installing wallpaper. Read instructions and trust in their process. The result is quite unique and lovely. I was going for a very specific look and found it with this wallpaper. I am very happy with the result.
I love this wallpaper. I am ordering more!
